Enabling public participation in decision-making about the built environment

SUGAR is a research project in urban governance, Augmented Reality (AR) and public participation that aims to develop a Sustainable Urban Governance framework utilising AR, design an ICT solution and implement it through activities in workshops based in Cyprus.

SUGAR’s consortium consists of two public universities, the Cyprus University of Technology and the University of Cyprus as well as a world-leading partner from the USA, Harvard University combining researchers from the Graduate School of Design (GSD) and the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences (SEAS).
